Position Overview:
As a Sales Supervisor at Tekkie Town, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of their stores. You will lead a team of sales associates, providing guidance, support, and training to help them deliver outstanding customer experiences. Your goal will be to maximize sales, maintain store standards, and uphold Tekkie Town’s reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of sales associates.
- Coach and train team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Assist customers in finding the right footwear and accessories to meet their needs.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and returns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain store visual standards and ensure merchandise is well-organized and displayed effectively.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overages.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to create and implement sales strategies.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security protocols.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Computer Literate, MS Office – proficient in Work, Outlook, Excel, etc
- Minimum of 1 – 2 years’ experience as Sales Assistant in the retail sector.
- Fluent (written and verbal) in English and another official South African language relevant.
- Strong interpersonal and selling skills.
- A strong logical thinking and analytical ability.
