Job Description:
At their Secunda plant, Sasol is looking for two hardworking and dedicated Artisans. An Artisan contributes to production by ensuring effective equipment maintenance and reliability while adhering to procedures/codes and utilizing all available support resources to increase plant stability and sustainability.
Minimum Experience:
- Matric with Maths , Physical science and English / N3
- Relevant Occupational Qualification
- 0 to 5 relevant years of experience

Job Responsibilities:
- Proven competence in pre-identified areas per plant/mine/equipment/systems discipline (proven application of training for artisan grade)
- Recognize and apply the plant maintenance documentation system
- Recognize the planning and work management system
- Plant/mine specific/basic process knowledge is required (defined per discipline)
- Compliance with Safety Management Systems, such as IMS, MBO, and others.
- Capable of carrying out emergency procedures
- Task risk assessment should be read, interpreted, and implemented.
- Assessments of task risk/hazard identification
