Requirements
- PSIRA registration
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Minimum 3 to 5 years Technical experience
- Fault finding capabilities with experience including IDS and DSC alarm panels
- Matrix from a Technical High School preferred
- Tertiary qualification in electronics / electronic engineering preferred
Responsibilities
- Consult with the customer to understand requirements regarding alarm system performance and protection
- Review existing system and identify shortcomings
- Identify root causes of false alarm activations
- Present solutions to reduce false alarm rates and meet customer requirements
- Provide advice on new technologies and equipment
- Complete relevant documentation accurately
- Uphold customer satisfaction and attend scheduled appointments punctually
- Present detailed written quotations to customers
- Manage stock and inventory accurately
- Implement specified solutions as agreed with the customer
- Ensure service standards are upheld
- Handle classified information
- Complete Case Studies for training material
- Teach, coach, and mentor technicians and coordinators
