Solutions Architect
Overview
The Solutions Architect is responsible for leading the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-level software solutions, ensuring that client business needs are translated into scalable, high-quality technical solutions while maintaining hands-on involvement in development.
Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience in C# development and software engineering
- Proven experience in solution architecture for enterprise systems
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles
- Experience applying architectural and design patterns (e.g., GOF)
- Solid experience working with RDBMS, including basic database administration
- Ability to design systems aligned to non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, etc.)
- Experience with .NET frameworks and/or exposure to Java technology stacks
- Ability to architect solutions in unfamiliar technology environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of complex, enterprise-level software solutions
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams
- Participate in hands-on development to ensure alignment with architectural vision
- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions
- Define and enforce architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices
- Address non-functional requirements such as security, performance, scalability, and availability
- Engage with clients to present solutions, provide recommendations, and gain buy-in
- Mentor and support team members to enhance technical capability
- Ensure effective implementation of SDLC processes and delivery governance
- Take ownership of technical delivery, including risk identification and mitigation
