Staff Wellness Officer
Overview
Responsible for coordinating and implementing the institutional wellness strategy and managing the relationship with the institution’s wellness service provider. Ensures staff are aware of wellness interventions and initiatives, and that these are carried out within the budget provided. Provides back-up support for the Remuneration and Benefits Officer.
Requirements
- A relevant B. Degree at the NQF level 7 (ideally with psychology, social sciences, social work, and/or human resources)
- Approximately 3 years’ relevant experience including previous staff wellness experience
- Experience coordinating and implementing staff wellness initiatives and activities
- Preferably project management experience or high level of organisation and coordination
- At least 2 years of experience using spreadsheets, particularly Excel
- At least 1 year of experience in data analysis, interpretation, and reporting
- Experience handling large volumes of data with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Previous counselling and/or facilitation/training experience is advantageous
