Requirements
- BSc or BTech Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in structural engineering within a consulting environment
- Proven experience in the structural design of commercial building projects
- Proficiency in Revit and Tekla
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, design standards and industry best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Professional and confident when attending client and project meetings
Responsibilities
- Prepare structural designs and technical documentation for commercial building projects
- Develop and coordinate structural models and drawings using Revit and Tekla
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders
- Attend project meetings and provide technical input throughout the design process
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and the wider professional team to ensure project objectives are achieved
- Assist in resolving design challenges and contribute to the successful delivery of projects
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications
