Overview
The Student Advisor Position at IIE Rosebank International involves organizing, coordinating, and motivating the student recruitment teams to enhance student engagement and success. The role is crucial for promoting outreach activities, delivering marketing strategies, and providing career and academic counseling to potential students. The ideal candidate will play a key part in building partnerships with educational institutions and the community, while helping to maintain the college's commitment to academic excellence.
Responsibilities
- Represent Rosebank College to targeted constituencies; visit high schools, speak to groups and individual students; and meet with school counsellors, administrators, and/or other constituent groups to promote outreach activities.
- Develop, coordinate, and deliver outreach programs and marketing strategies, including community workshops and recruitment efforts.
- Serve as the point person for internal coordination of college student recruitment and enrollment management goals.
- Provide career and academic counseling, planning, and advising to potential students.
- Develop and maintain partnerships between the college, local school systems, alumni networks, faculty, and community partners.
- Coordinate college participation in recruitment fairs, conferences, and outreach events.
- Organize and implement large, multi-departmental special events utilizing presentation and promotional material.
