Supply Chain Clerk

Are you detail-oriented and organized, with a passion for supporting efficient operations? The Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development is seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Clerk to join their team. As a crucial member of our supply chain department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth procurement and distribution of resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and preparing purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate the delivery of goods and services.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock control.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and procedures.
  • Support the generation of procurement reports and data analysis.

Requirements:

  • in possession of a Grade 12 Certificate.
  • No experience required.
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes and supply chain operations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and under pressure.
