Requirements
- B.Ed or PGCE in Intermediate Phase Teaching (NQF Level 7 or higher)
- 2 – 5 years of teaching experience (or at least 1-year internship for exceptional candidates)
- Valid SACE registration and police clearance
- Willingness to teach across subjects as a generalist
- Strong classroom management and planning skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with 21st-century skills and international benchmarks
- Design interdisciplinary and real-world learning experiences that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, global awareness, and cultural sensitivity
- Personalise learning through differentiated instruction and innovative teaching strategies
- Integrate technology to enhance classroom engagement and student-led learning
- Conduct formative, summative, and performance-based assessments to monitor learner progress
- Foster a safe, respectful, and values-driven classroom environment
- Represent Trinityhouse at school events and community engagements
- Manage class administration efficiently and maintain accurate student records
- Participate actively in professional learning communities and continuous professional development initiatives
