Overview

The Traffic Manager is responsible for overseeing the workflow and scheduling within the photography studio. This includes managing the movement of products and digital assets from intake through photography, post-production, and final publication, acting as the key operational link between various teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily intake, scheduling, and prioritization of all photography and post-production requests.
  • Coordinate the movement of samples through styling, photography, retouching, quality control, and final delivery.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure optimal studio utilization and on-time delivery.
  • Monitor project timelines, identify workflow bottlenecks, and implement solutions to minimize delays.
  • Balance competing priorities across multiple brands, campaigns, product launches, and seasonal deadlines.
  • Ensure production workflows align with agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and business priorities.
  • Coordinate daily studio schedules, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Partner with the Photography Lead to set realistic daily production targets.
  • Allocate photographers according to their expertise and project needs.
  • Manage internal and external retouching capacity to meet deadlines.
  • Monitor studio productivity and recommend workflow improvements.
  • Route retouched imagery for review and approval, consolidating feedback into clear revision instructions.
