Job Description:
As a Truck Driver at PG Group, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient delivery of glass products to customers while upholding the highest standards of service quality. You will be entrusted with the vital task of safely transporting glass to and from customers, as well as maintaining accurate records of various paperwork associated with the deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport glass products to and from customers.
- Uphold the highest standard of service quality in every delivery.
- Accurately complete and maintain all required paperwork.
- Ensure the safe and secure handling of glass during transportation.
- Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the delivery vehicle.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Adhere to all relevant road and safety regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
Qualifications and Skills:
- A valid Code 10 or Code 14 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a truck driver.
- Familiarity with Western Cape roads and routes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safety and responsible driving.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
