As a Warehouse & Logistics Manager (Exports) at Montego Pet Nutrition, you will oversee the complete export fulfillment lifecycle, ensuring the accurate packing and documentation of shipments as they leave the warehouse for international destinations. Your role will emphasize precision, compliance, and operational excellence, with a focus on managing warehousing activities related to exports.
Responsibilities
- Planning and managing export picking, packing, and container loading schedules.
- Ensuring the correct products, quantities, batches, and configurations are loaded every time.
- Managing export-specific labeling requirements for multiple international markets.
- Coordinating container bookings, VGM requirements, seal controls, and dispatch readiness.
- Ensuring all export orders leave on time, in full, and fully compliant.
- Investigating and resolving shipment variances, loading discrepancies, and stock issues.
- Maintaining real-time ERP accuracy for all export stock movements and dispatch activities.
- Managing export inventory according to FIFO and FEFO principles.
- Maintaining warehouse organization, stock rotation, and aging controls.
- Overseeing bonded, quarantine, and market-specific stock where required.
- Conducting regular inspections to ensure product quality, packaging integrity, and label compliance.
- Driving food safety, hygiene, housekeeping, and audit readiness standards.
- Minimizing damages, stock losses, and handling errors through strong operational controls.
- Leading cycle counts and monthly stock takes.
- Investigating and resolving stock variances through root cause analysis.
- Maintaining complete batch traceability and inventory integrity in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Supporting Demand Planning with accurate inventory data and stock availability insights.
- Proactively identifying shortages, shelf-life risks, and allocation concerns before they become problems.
- Ensuring compliance with international regulatory, veterinary, phytosanitary, and customer requirements.
- Supporting the preparation and verification of export documentation.
- Maintaining complete records for containers, seals, batch allocations, and shipment confirmations.
- Supporting customer, regulatory, and food safety audits.
- Staying informed on changing export regulations and international market requirements.
