Responsibilities:
- Learning and Development: Work alongside experienced Mechanical Engineers and Technicians to gain practical experience in mechanical engineering processes.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshooting: Participate in identifying, diagnosing, and solving mechanical issues.
- Project Support: Contribute to engineering projects aimed at improving efficiency and productivity.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and project progress.
- Continuous Learning: Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills in mechanical engineering.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / N5 with technical subjects, Mechanical or Electrical
- S4 subjects completed or in the process, and looking to complete P1 and P2
- Previous Food manufacturing experience will be advantageous
- A strong passion for mechanical engineering and a desire to gain practical experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with engineering software is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
