Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in a structured learning program designed to develop technical skills and knowledge in line with Sasol’s business requirements.
- Collaborate with experienced technicians and engineers to support the maintenance, operation, and improvement of production equipment and systems.
- Assist in conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of machinery to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Perform calibration and testing activities on various instruments and equipment.
- Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting to support decision-making processes.
- Learn and adhere to relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality assurance protocols.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for optimization and suggesting innovative solutions.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures at all times.
- Participate actively in training sessions, workshops, and knowledge sharing activities to enhance technical skills and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Matric certificate (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Physical Science as subjects.
- National Diploma or N3 Engineering Certificate in one of the following fields: Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation, or similar.
- Strong passion for technology, engineering, and problem-solving.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
