Overview

Utilise the Cook Chill System, prepare, cook, plate and regenerate and serve meals and beverages for the patients in accordance with the PAWC Food Service Policy. Follow standardised PAWC recipes and menus.

Requirements

  • Minimum educational qualification: Basic numeracy and literacy
  • Experience: Appropriate experience
  • Inherent requirements of the job: Ability to workday/night shifts (weekends and public holidays)
  • Must be willing to enter all types of hospital wards and s erve the patients
  • Ability to do work of a physical nature, which includes lifting heavy objects and being on one's feet the entire day
  • Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of production for normal and therapeutic diets in a foodservice unit
  • Knowle dge Of HACCP and safety principles

Responsibilities

  • Utilise the Cook Chill System, prepare, cook, plate and regenerate and serve meals and beverages for the patients in accordance with the PAWC Food Service Policy
  • Follow standardised PAWC recipes and menus
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen area and equipment and adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Communicate with patients and Kitchen staff and feedback problems and recommendations to the Food Service Supervisor
