Overview
Development and implementation of basic patient care plans. Provide basic clinical nursing care.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse
- Registration with a professional council: Registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse
- Experience: Grade 1: None Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years’ appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Staff Nurse with the SANC
- Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years’ appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Staff Nurse with the SANC
- Inherent requirement of the job: Willingness to work shifts, night duty, including weekends, public holidays as well as overtime
- Willingness to assist in the other wards in the hospital when needed
- Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good communication and interpersonal relationships
- Self - discipline and motivation
- Ability to work in a team across the service platforms
