Staff Nurse Grade 1 To 3 (Female Pre Discharge Ward 3)

Overview
Provide basic clinical nursing care. Development and implementation of basic patient care plans.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: Qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Staff Nurse
- Registration with a professional council: Registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse
- Experience: Grade 1: None
- Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse
- Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse
- Inherent requirements of the job: Willingness to work overtime, nightshift, weekends and public holidays
- Willingness to rotate within the hospital in different wards
- Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge and experience of Community Mental Health at Primary Health care level
- Basic Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Ability to function independently, as well as in a multi -disciplinary t eam to ensure good patient care
- Good communication skills
