Overview
Maintain client satisfaction through quality service, innovation and nursing care by upholding the principles of Batho Pele and Patients’ Rights and Responsibility. Ensure that infection control and health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
Requirements
- Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent
- Enrolled Nursing Certificate
- Current Registration with SANC as Enrolled Nurse (2026)
- Knowledge of nursing care processes and procedures, nursing statutes and other relevant legal frameworks
- Good interpersonal relations and communication skills
- Ability to function and work as part of a team
- Understanding of the challenges facing the public health sector
Responsibilities
- Ensure the effective, efficient and economical use of allocated resources
- Maintain clinical professional and ethical standards
- Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with staff and stakeholders
- Promote, advocate and facilitate proper treatment and care for patients
- Ensure the rendering of nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Maintain accurate records and confidentiality
- Ensure safe and efficient functioning of the Human milk bank
