Requirements
- A National Senior Certificate / an equivalent plus an appropriate qualification (NQF 6) in Finance or an equivalent qualification in the relevant field / area as recognized by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA)
- A minimum of two (2) years’ ex perience in the same or related field
- Valid Driver’s Licence (Except for people with disabilities)
- Core And Process Competencies: Strategic Capability and Leadership, Programme and Project Management, Change Management, Financial Management, Knowledge Management, Problem Solving and Analysis, Client Orientation and Customer Focus, Communication
- Knowledge And Skills: Knowledge and understanding of legislative framework governing Public Service, PFMA, Advanced Financial Management, Reporting procedures, Computer Literacy
- Written Communication negotiation skills, Analytical thinking skills, transformation policies and procedures, Production process knowledge and skills
Responsibilities
- Registration of Departmental Assets
- Maintenance of Asset register
- Updating of Inventory lists
- Conduct disposal of obsolete and redundant assets
