Data Engineering Intern
Overview
Cubix is offering a 12-month paid internship that provides hands-on experience in data engineering, focusing on enterprise-scale lead management, sales, customer, and operational data within a fast-paced call centre environment. Interns will work alongside experienced Data Engineers and Analytics professionals to support the development of data pipelines, improve data quality, and help deliver reliable data products.
Requirements
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must have a National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- Completed a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL
- Must have a clear criminal record
- Must have a clear ITC record
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35
- Must NOT currently be employed or participating in another internship or learnership programme
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Work alongside experienced Data Engineers and Analytics professionals
- Support the development of data pipelines
- Improve data quality
- Help deliver reliable data products
