Overview
To assist the local Makhanda-based research team in the Sleep CHAMPzzz study with research participant preparation and screening, data collection and management, and equipment management and safety. The role will require the employee to visit the homes of adolescent (13-15 years old) research participants to conduct the research activities.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Approximately 2 years’ relevant experience including scientific monitoring of human participants
- Application of at least one sleep-specific physiological measure (e.g., actigraphy, polysomnography, heart rate variability)
- Experience working in a laboratory and field work
- Proven technical ability
