Trainee Manager - Standerton
Overview
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Trainee Manager for their Standerton store. In this role, you will learn about overall store operations under the guidance of an experienced store manager while performing various retail operational duties.
Requirements
- Grade 12/ Matric
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience in store retail management
- Computer literate – MS Office
- Willing and able to work retail hours
- Valid driver's license
- Own reliable transport
- Diploma in Financial / Admin or a relevant 3-year Diploma (advantageous)
Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient stock flow to the sales floor and participate in inventory management, including stock takes and addressing shrinkage.
- Assist with the planning and maintenance of promotional stock displays.
- Support adherence to labeling, pricing, and layout standards.
- Assist with goods receiving duties and participate in transaction integrity.
- Support achieving set store sales targets and promoting effective promotional activities.
- Collaborate with management to ensure inventory levels are maintained and propose strategies to meet profit and sales objectives.
