Overview
The Capacity Building Manager at Rand Water will provide strategic direction and guidance to management and staff regarding capacity building initiatives. This role aims to enable the effective implementation of the Talent Management Framework, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Post Matric qualification in Human Resources NQF Level 8 (Honours level)
- Management Development Programme NQF Level 8 (Honours level)
- Master’s Degree in HR or equivalent (NQF 9) - Desirable
- Extensive experience (7 – 9 years) in Human Resources, with at least 5 years at management level in Training & Development
- Computer Literacy in all programmes relevant to the job
Responsibilities
- Promote and implement an integrated training & development strategy in alignment with strategic objectives
- Provide strategic advice on the implementation of skills development programmes and related interventions
- Internal and external liaison with key stakeholders on capacity building
- Ensure efficiencies and effectiveness in the delivery of strategic human capital strategy
- Manage information to ensure data integrity
- Create an enabling environment that supports capacity building initiatives
- Manage the capacity building budget to maximise implementation and achievement of strategic priorities
- Ensure value add for Rand Water in respect of training spend
