Cashier (Rustenburg)
Overview
RCL FOODS is on the hunt for a Cashier to join our Commercial team in Rustenburg. The successful incumbent will be responsible for receiving and depositing cash deposits, recording cash and ensuring security of the cash.
Requirements
- Grade 12/Matric with Mathematics
- Must reside in or around Rustenburg
- Previous experience working in a similar role or environment is advantageous (cash office/banking)
Responsibilities
- Receive all cash deposits from drivers
- Make up bank
- Count cash received from drivers and balance with deposit slip
- Record cash and cheques in cashup summary
- Prepare deposit for bank
- Record seal numbers in register
- Keep the cash office door locked at all times
- Lock cash in safe overnight
- Remove previous day's takings from premises by 11:00 am next day
