CCTV/Electronic Security Systems Technician
Overview
We are looking for an experienced and detail orientated Technician to look after high-security installations across our infrastructure projects. This role requires full deployment and configuration of Alarm Systems, CCTV surveillance, Access Control and Network connectivity at respective sites.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- 5-10 years proven experience in the Electronic Security Systems Industry
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals
- Valid code 8 Drivers License
- PSIRA registration Grades C
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, commission and maintain electronic security systems, including CCTV, Access control systems, Alarm and intrusion detection systems, Intercoms and perimeter protection solutions, Networking
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative service on installed systems
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and professionally
- Conduct site assessments and provide technical recommendations
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships
- Complete job cards, service reports, and administrative tasks accurately and on time
