Requirements
- Must have completed a National Senior Certificate
- NQF qualifications in hospitality
- Previous experience working in Healthcare would be advantageous
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals to a high standard, following set menus and special dietary requirements
- Ensure meals are well-presented, flavoursome, and served on time
- Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and allergen-control standards
- Assist with menu planning and recipe development
- Monitor stock levels and support with ordering and stock rotation
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with regulatory standards
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure smooth service
- Engage positively with residents, respecting their preferences and feedback
