Contracts & Compliance Specialist
Overview
Tsebo Facilities Solutions is looking for a Contracts & Compliance Specialist to safeguard commercial value, contractual compliance, and operational governance across the Facilities Management portfolio. The role ensures that all supplier contracts, service agreements, and compliance obligations are effectively managed, risks are mitigated, regulatory requirements are met, and supplier performance is continuously improved through structured contract governance, audit readiness, and SLA/KPI management.
Requirements
- Matric Grade 12
- Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field
- WorldCC (IACCM) Contract Management Certification
- CIPS qualification or equivalent
- SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, or other HSE-related certifications
- POPIA and GDPR awareness certification
- ISO awareness or certification exposure
- 5 to 8 years' experience in contract management, commercial administration, or compliance roles
- Minimum 3 years' experience within Facilities Management environments
- Experience managing SLA/KPI frameworks and supplier performance
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and administer Facilities Management contracts, SLAs, KPIs, variation orders, and service agreements
- Maintain an accurate contract register, including renewals, notice periods, escalations, warranties, and key contractual milestones
- Coordinate supplier onboarding and offboarding processes, including due diligence, insurance verification, inductions, and compliance documentation
- Manage contract changes, scope adjustments, extensions, claims, disputes, and pricing revisions
- Ensure compliance with procurement, governance, ethics, delegation of authority, and ESG requirements
- Monitor compliance with POPIA, Occupational Health and Safety legislation, SANS standards, and client-specific requirements
- Verify supplier certifications, permits, competencies, insurances, and statutory compliance requirements
- Conduct supplier compliance audits, HSE inspections, and corrective action tracking
- Develop and maintain measurable SLAs, OLAs, KPIs, and service credit frameworks
- Conduct monthly and quarterly supplier performance reviews
- Issue and manage non-conformance notices and performance improvement plans
- Support tender and RFQ processes, bid compliance reviews, and governance requirements
- Review invoices against contractual obligations and measured work completed
- Maintain complete and version-controlled contract documentation and compliance records
- Produce monthly compliance, performance, risk, spend, and audit reports
- Act as the central point of contact for contract and compliance-related matters
