Cosmetic Manager - Pinelands (New Store)
Overview
The Cosmetic Manager will be responsible for overseeing the cosmetic and beauty categories at the new Dis-Chem store in Pinelands. This role requires managing the promotion and sale of cosmetic products, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team to effectively assist customers in their beauty needs.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- A minimum of 3 years’ cosmetics or beauty experience within a retail environment
- Previous supervision and/or management of a staff complement of around 7
- Computer literate – MS Office
- Willing and able to work retail hours
- SAP experience (advantageous)
- Qlikview experience (advantageous)
Responsibilities
- Direct and support sales staff in accordance with the Dis-Chem policies and procedures
- Ensure Cosmetic Consultants are allocated properly within cosmetic and beauty categories
- Provide relevant training for staff and manage feedback
- Ensure the store is adequately staffed at all times
- Manage stock control through effective planning and collaboration with the warehouse
- Address customer compliments and escalate serious complaints
- Maintain merchandising and displays to ensure cleanliness and standards
- Carry out monthly promotions to achieve department targets
- Keep up to date with product and brand knowledge
