Overview
A well-established Electrical Engineering Consultancy is looking for an experienced Electrical Draughtsperson to join their team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical consulting, with practical experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit to produce detailed electrical engineering drawings and documentation.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Draughting, Electrical Engineering or a related field will be advantageous.
- 3+ years' experience as a draughtsperson within an electrical consulting engineering environment.
- Strong AutoCAD experience.
- Revit experience will be advantageous.
- Good understanding of electrical engineering drawings and building services.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, designs and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict project deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed electrical engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Develop and update drawings in accordance with engineering designs and project requirements.
- Prepare accurate technical drawings and documentation for electrical building services projects.
- Work closely with electrical engineers and other project team members.
- Interpret engineering designs, specifications and technical information.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated and completed within project deadlines.
- Update drawings and models based on design changes and project requirements.
- Assist with the coordination of electrical designs within multidisciplinary projects.
