Join the Snackworks Isando Biscuits Factory and become part of a business with a proud biscuit-making legacy. This role is designed to be responsible for the outputs of a team of more than 40 people that promote the engineering effort for the facility.
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience as an Engineering Manager within the Manufacturing industry
- Ideally 3 years within an FMCG environment as an Engineering Manager and/or Maintenance Manager
- 5 years’ people management experience
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)
- Certificated Engineer (GCC Factories)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with site risk department on all risk compliance
- Implement improvement opportunities identified through hygiene surveys
- Manage morale of engineering team
- Compile and manage annual maintenance budgets
- Equipment availability management
- KPI tracking and reporting for maintenance department performance
- Manage building and facilities in line with relevant standards
