Confluent Services, a Financial Services group in Cape Town, is seeking a newly qualified CA(SA) to join their finance team as a Financial Analyst. The role involves supporting the credit solutions business with financial reporting, revenue analysis, and insights on margins, while reporting to the Head of Finance Operations and having direct visibility to the Group CFO.
Requirements
- Newly or recently qualified CA(SA)
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong planning, organising and time management skills
- Able to work independently and manage competing deadlines
- Self-motivated; takes initiative and ownership
- Comfortable building processes and structure from scratch
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Conducts themselves with integrity and professionalism
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly revenue reporting by credit partner, including margin analysis and trend commentary
- Produce and present financial review inserts for management committee and board meetings
- Manage the annual budget and produce quarterly forecast updates for the credit solutions business unit
- Partner with the data team to develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports; review outputs for accuracy and completeness
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis on request from the Head of Credit Solutions and other senior stakeholders
- Continuously assess reporting processes and workbooks for opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy, including through automation and AI tooling
