Overview
As a Contact Centre Agent, you will serve as one of the first points of contact for FlySafair customers, handling and resolving customer complaints, requests, and queries.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification
- At least one year of call centre experience gained within the last three years in a medium-sized organisation
- No criminal record
- No credit record
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Flexibility regarding working hours
- Willingness to work longer than normal office hours when required
Responsibilities
- Handling and resolving customer complaints, requests, and queries
- Assisting customers with bookings, delays, cancellations, lost property, and system-related issues
- Following approved scripts, instructions, and guidelines when handling high-volume enquiries
- Processing customer forms, orders, and applications
- Providing information about FlySafair’s products and services
- Explaining processes and guiding customers through the appropriate steps
- Following up with customers to ensure their issues have been resolved
- Identifying customer needs and researching issues to provide appropriate solutions or alternatives
- Escalating complex or problematic queries to the appropriate level
- Recording customer comments, enquiries, complaints, and actions taken according to standard operating procedures
- Updating existing customer information
- Communicating with customers through approved channels in a professional and helpful manner
- Providing excellent customer service and working to exceed customer expectations
- Identifying opportunities to upsell FlySafair products when appropriate
- Protecting customer confidentiality
- Keeping up to date with FlySafair’s services and products
- Identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience
