The Driver is responsible for safely transporting crew and staff between various locations including airports, training centres, and hotels. This role requires ensuring punctuality to meet operational schedules, conducting daily vehicle inspections, and maintaining accurate logs of mileage and trip details while adhering to company safety and road regulations.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential)
- Valid Code B Drivers licence with PDP (Essential)
- Minimum 2 years' professional driving experience (preferably in crew/staff transport environment) (Essential)
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Medically fit
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
- Knowledge of road traffic laws and regulations
Responsibilities
- Safely transport crew and staff between airports, training centres, hotels, and other designated points
- Assist with ad-hoc collections and deliveries as required
- Ensure punctuality to meet operational schedules
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any defects or irregularities
- Keep the vehicle clean, presentable, and roadworthy at all times
- Monitor service schedules and licensing renewals to ensure compliance
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel usage, and trip details, and ensure timely submission of receipts and reports
- Follow company safety, security, and road safety regulations at all times
- Deliver consistently professional, courteous, and customer-focused service to all crew and staff members
