Overview

The Grade A/B Security Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe transport of personnel, valuable assets, and sensitive materials, combining driving proficiency with security expertise.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security driving with a solid understanding of security measures and vehicle operations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Fluent communication in English.
• Matric.
• Valid Psira certificate grade A/B only.
• Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations, along with navigation skills.
• Strong observational skills to identify and respond to potential security threats efficiently.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate security vehicles while adhering to safe driving practices and traffic regulations.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure safety and readiness.
• Execute comprehensive security checks before passenger transport and on-site deliveries.
• Maintain vigilance during transport, responding promptly to any suspicious activities or potential threats.
• Liaise with security personnel and coordination teams to execute transport plans effectively.
• Document log entries of travel routes, times, and any incidents occurring during transport.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and colleagues while maintaining professionalism.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated with security protocols and driving best practices.
