Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CCTV Controller to monitor and operate our closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our premises by effectively monitoring and controlling CCTV cameras to detect any suspicious behavior or security breaches.

Requirements

  • Matric certificate
  • Valid Psira Certificate (Grade A-B)
  • Proven experience working as a Senior CCTV Controller or in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of CCTV technology and systems
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent communication and observation skills
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and standard operating procedures related to CCTV surveillance
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Monitor multiple CCTV screens and cameras to detect any suspicious activity or security breaches
  • Operate cameras to focus on specific areas or individuals
  • Report any incidents, issues, or unusual activities to security personnel or relevant authorities
  • Maintain accurate records of all CCTV activities and incidents
  • Conduct regular checks and inspections of CCTV equipment to ensure proper functioning
  • Assist security personnel in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with CCTV systems
  • Work closely with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents as required
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to security and surveillance
