Intermediate Java Developer (Contract)
Overview

Requirements
- Degree in BSc Computer Science, BSc IT, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of commercial Java development experience.
- Java/J2EE, Spring, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux/Bash, RabbitMQ/ActiveMQ, Git, and Postman.
- Deep SQL capabilities across multiple relational database engines.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-volume Java services on an enterprise telecoms billing platform.
- Connect systems using enterprise patterns, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
- Write and tune complex SQL queries across MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Deploy and support containerised applications (Docker/Kubernetes) on Linux environments.
- Facilitate FAT and UAT testing directly with client stakeholders.
- Collaborate in a Scrum team utilizing Git version control.
