Logistics Systems Optimizer
Overview
The purpose of the Logistics Systems Optimizer is to support and optimize the Transport division’s systems by ensuring system availability, data integrity, user adoption and compliance with national standards. This role serves as a key support resource for transport-related systems, providing first-line user support, monitoring system performance, facilitating stakeholder engagement sessions and assisting with the implementation of new technologies and/or projects.
Requirements
- Relevant Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics
- Minimum of 2 years Supply Chain Management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strategic thinker
- Strong analytical ability
- In-depth understanding of Supply Chain principles
Responsibilities
- First line support for business users on all systems
- Secondary support for all secondary transport systems (Mix Telematics, Drive Risk and FMA)
- Proactive systems monitoring and user usage evaluations
- Training of branch managers on all systems ensuring standards are maintained nationally
- Ensure national standards of installations are maintained
- Ensure weekly data integrity
- Systems health reporting
- Secondary base standard sign-off
- Manage KPI input data
- Transport project management and new systems roll-out
