Marketing Operations Manager - Midrand
Overview
The Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for establishing and managing operational frameworks, governance processes, reporting structures and business management practices that enable efficient and effective delivery across the Marketing function. The role supports operational excellence through process optimisation, budget management, reporting, governance, resource visibility and Print Production oversight.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Management, Operations, Finance, Project Management or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing operations, business operations, project governance or marketing management
- Experience managing budgets, reporting, supplier operations and cross-functional processes advantageous
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain marketing governance frameworks, operating rhythms, processes and ways of working
- Drive consistency in briefing, approvals, reporting, documentation and operational standards across Marketing
- Identify process improvement opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and operational effectiveness
- Maintain operational dashboards, trackers and reporting frameworks across the Marketing function
- Provide visibility into team capacity, operational performance, priorities and business risks
- Produce regular management reporting to support decision-making and planning
- Manage operational budget tracking, expenditure reporting, procurement and supplier administration processes
- Maintain visibility of agency, supplier and departmental spend
- Support agency and supplier onboarding, documentation, operational standards and compliance processes
- Provide operational oversight of the Print Production function, including workflow, resource and budget visibility
- Monitor production operational performance, supplier controls and process efficiency
