Multiskilled Handyman (Rooms Care)
Overview
Tsebo Facilities Solutions is looking for a Rooms Care Multiskilled Handyman to support refurbishment, restoration, maintenance, and asset preservation activities within accommodation units by delivering high-quality multi-skilled building maintenance services that meet luxury hospitality standards.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid driver's licence
- 3 to 5 years' experience in building maintenance, repairs, or refurbishment
Responsibilities
- Perform painting and decorating work to required quality standards
- Conduct tiling, carpentry, plumbing, and general building repairs
- Carry out bath enamelling and furniture restoration activities
- Repair and maintain cupboards, doors, ceilings, drywall structures, and related fittings
- Complete waterproofing and preventative maintenance tasks
- Support refurbishment and restoration initiatives across accommodation units
- Assist with asset preservation programmes to maintain property standards
- Identify maintenance concerns and report defects timeously
- Assist with room refurbishment projects
- Conduct quality inspections on completed work
- Coordinate and liaise with contractors where required
- Ensure work areas are maintained in a safe and tidy condition
- Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and company procedures
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with hospitality and engineering standards
