Overview

To manage operational efficiencies and achieve client / customer objectives in areas of responsibility.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree at NQF level 7
• 7-8 Years relevant experience in FMCG industry or sales environment

Responsibilities

• Achievement of sales targets
• Identify sales targets per channel per month and draw up quarterly project plan
• Manage and track implementation of project plan
• Liaise with buyers to achieve targets
• Manage Promotional Activities
• Manage new innovations
• Manage out-of-stocks
• Minimise credit notes
• Ensure adherence to call cycle
• Ensure effective time management when visiting stores
• Ensure stock availability
• Ensure shelf health
• Adhere to specific Returns Management policies
• Implement promotional schedules
• Take full responsibility for performance management of all direct reports
• Manage Employment Equity targets
• Ensure appropriate levels of management and accountability
• Compile annual budget using previous business unit financial performance information
• Analyze monthly departmental budgeting and accounting reports
• Prepare and compile budget reports
• Ensure compliance to relevant policies and procedures
• Release / authorize orders
• Compile Field Intelligence reports and submit to BU Manager
• Ensure effective communication of information to Field Force
• Proactively build relationships with clients and customers
• Ensure prompt problem solving
• Ensure accurate salary input and monitor and control expense claims
• Conduct HR audits
• Conduct Financial audits
• Check and monitor assets and ensure updated asset register
• Conduct disciplinary hearings as required
• Ensure office hygiene and equipment are maintained
• Actively and consistently maintain high standards of professionalism
