RCL FOODS is a prominent South African food manufacturer seeking a Sales Representative for its Baking Division in Bushbuckridge. The primary aim of this role is to ensure efficient customer service to boost sales volumes and enhance market share, reporting directly to the Sales Manager.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Degree in Sales/Management
- Minimum 2 years experience in an FMCG sales environment
- Valid EB Drivers License (Code 08)
Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective product distribution
- Ensure driver teams deliver according to mapped and optimized routes
- Ensure all new and old customers are plotted on the GPS system
- Ensure orders are geared towards improving truck utilization and loaves/km
- Ensure delivery teams' invoices correspond with loading lists before vehicles leave the bakery
- Build sustainable customer relationships
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly targets are met
- Ensure balancing of orders placed, delivered, and returned
- Monitor driver orders for informal trade customers daily
- Monitor and track returns daily
- Craft and action plans to drastically improve returns
- Assist distribution team with debriefing on the balancing day
- Submit sales figures from drivers daily
- Ensure driver teams’ sales are in line with sales targets
- Source and distribute key trade intelligence
- Provide actionable plans for improvements and combating competitor activities
- Responsible for developing new market
