SENIOR BI ANALYST
Overview
To provide insightful analysis and reporting to decision makers regarding various issues related to performance management and performance measure development. Further, to assist with implementing process improvements, tracking performance impacts, and reporting any correlation to improvements.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex data analysis in support of ad-hoc and ongoing requests in terms of data quality
- Develop methodologies and methods for analysing and presenting data
- Use and support database applications and analytical tools to analyse the data quality levels
- Research new data sources and analytical tools with the aim of improving the process and underlying data analysis
- Identify anomalies and inconsistencies in data and flag to relevant parties
- Ensure that the quality of data is accurately measured, tracked and reported on
- Ensure continuous innovation on data analytics providing strategic business direction
- Collect and analyse data and provide insights to client and the business assisting in strategic decision making
- Build databases to identify trends and inconsistencies, assisting in future decision making
- Prioritize problems to ensure that the greatest business benefits are realized
- Collaborate with numerous stakeholders for specific problems to further grasp the problem specifics
- Collect and process/analyse data to quantify the scope, nature and severity of the problem
- Define and evaluate options for the solution to a given prioritized problem
