SENIOR LECTURER/ LECTURER: PSYCHOLOGY
Overview
To lead and manage the successful delivery of assigned qualification(s) and discipline(s). To oversee one or more qualifications and core discipline modules within assigned fields, ensuring alignment of module content, assessment strategies, and overall student experience. To provide academic leadership in the planning, design, and delivery of high-quality, innovative qualifications that align with the requirements of the Council on Higher Education (CHE), students, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the curriculum leadership, development, and alignment of a qualification(s) and discipline(s).
- Accountable for the timeous development, quality assurance and maintenance of up-to-date curricula.
- Create a curriculum that is innovative and meets stakeholder needs.
- Manage Module Leads nationally in the implementation of module material and assessments.
- Accountable for and track student performance in designated programs and modules.
- Participate in key governance structures and committees as required.
- Provide quality assurance for all curriculum-related content.
