SPECIALIST NETWORK MANAGEMENT
Overview
The successful candidate will be expected to perform duties related to network design and optimisation, operational support, stakeholder management, risk and compliance, administration and support, and cybersecurity management.
Responsibilities
- Design configuration and implementation of the organisation’s network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with other ICT teams for knowledge sharing and optimisation.
- Research and provide technical input into strategic decisions concerning network infrastructure.
- Manage maintenance, monitoring, and stability of the network infrastructure.
- Document all elements of the network infrastructure and ensure adherence to standards.
- Maximise network performance by monitoring, troubleshooting, and scheduling upgrades.
- Implement and monitor redundant network links for critical sites.
- Provide operational support of the entire network environment.
- Resolve incidents and fulfil service requests using a service management ticket tool.
- Perform daily system monitoring of hardware and key processes.
- Configure and install hosted VoIP, UC, and Video Conferencing solutions.
- Troubleshoot network issues and configure network infrastructure equipment.
- Perform capacity planning and regular security monitoring.
- Build and maintain relationships with all business units for expectations management.
- Represent and participate in committees and task teams.
- Assist in identifying and adhering to fraud controls and compliance processes.
- Maintain quality risk management standards.
- Responsible for maintenance and support of all customer premise equipment.
- Optimize network equipment and establish WAN between offices.
- Prepare DR sites for all business systems according to the DR Plan.
- Monitor data and contents processed through BMA systems for cybersecurity.
