Supply Chain Management Specialist - Capital Projects
Overview
The Supply Chain Management Specialist for Capital Projects will be responsible for executing and facilitating the high-value RFB process associated with mega capital projects. This role includes ensuring the compilation of accurate tender specifications and managing the entire tender process until its conclusion, while aligning procurement activities with project timelines and organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Ensure goods and services are procured in alignment with project timelines.
- Conduct market analysis for allocated procurement items.
- Prepare procurement strategy in collaboration with the requesting department.
- Procure goods and services within defined timelines as per procurement plans.
- Provide advisory and secretariat support to Bid Evaluation Committees.
- Conduct Expressions of Interest and RFIs as needed.
- Provide procurement information for departmental management reporting.
- Regularly update construction contracts information.
- Submit reports on the implementation of the B.U.I.L.D program and CPSG.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation measures.
- Ensure timely submission of relevant information to auditors.
- Engage internal and external stakeholders throughout the procurement process.
- Serve in organizational structures and forums as needed.
- Support end users in contract management and administration.
