Overview
The Department of Agriculture, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to render and support an operational management and accounting service in budget revenue and expenditure.
Requirements
- An appropriate 3-year National Diploma on NQF Level 6 (equivalent or higher qualification) in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field
- A minimum of 1 year relevant experience in management accounting, budgeting, or a financial project management environment
Responsibilities
- Provide Budget Planning and Preparation
- Provide Budget Support and Financial Control
- Calculate Adjustments Estimate and Main Budget Development
- Maintain Financial Governance, Compliance and Stakeholder Support
- Departmental detail monthly reporting to detect and incorrect/misclassification of SCOA allocations
