Team Leader
Overview
Join Entyce Beverages Coffee & Creamer in Isando, where we produce some of South Africa’s favourite brands. This role requires expertise in safety management, people leadership, strict inventory management control, and labour cost management within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in production within the FMCG industry
- 3-4 years of supervisory experience in a complex manufacturing structure
- Bachelor’s degree or Postgraduate in Operations Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering
- Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as Shopware, Pragma, SAP
- Strong knowledge of the MS Office suite
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Enforce correct PPE usage and compliance with safety protocols
- Promote a strong safety culture and conduct emergency evacuation drills
- Lead Hopper Floor and Tank Farm teams to meet daily shift targets
- Manage finished goods inventory and oversee equipment pre-checks
- Optimize labor management and control overtime and absenteeism
- Ensure high hygiene standards and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Assign daily tasks and manage team schedules
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development
