A leading construction materials organization is seeking a Technical Consultant to provide expert technical support and guidance to customers within the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technical solutions, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting quality and product excellence initiatives.
Requirements
- National Diploma in Chemistry or Civil Engineering
- Advanced Concrete Technology (ACT) Diploma or similar qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within construction processes, including concrete production, concrete mix design, mortars and plasters, and quality control
- Strong technical knowledge of cement, aggregates, admixtures, and concrete technologies
- Experience with material applications and quality control standards
- Knowledge of SANS specifications relating to aggregates, cement, and concrete
- Strong customer relationship management skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and technical report-writing abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
