Temporary Stock & Compliance Assistant
Overview
The Temporary Stock & Compliance Assistant will be responsible for performing physical stock counts for airside trolleys and storage areas, accurately recording stock data, verifying stock handling compliance, and monitoring operational procedures as adhered to by flight crew and catering partners. The role involves reporting any discrepancies to management and assisting with stock control and compliance activities as needed.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential)
- Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field (Advantageous)
- 1 year experience in stock control, inventory, compliance monitoring or related (Essential)
- Experience within aviation, catering, or FMCG environments (Advantageous)
- Familiarity with stock management systems and ERP platforms (Advantageous)
- Willing to work overtime and standby
- Basic stock management principle understanding
Responsibilities
- Perform physical stock counts for airside trolleys and storage areas
- Accurately record and capture stock data in designated systems
- Verify that all trolleys are correctly sealed and that stock handling complies with approved procedures
- Monitor adherence to operational and compliance procedures by both flight crew and catering partners
- Promptly report any discrepancies or instances of non-compliance to management
- Assist with ad hoc stock control and compliance related activities as required
