Requirements
- Qualified Fitter OR Electrician (Red Seal / Recognized Trade Test is mandatory)
- Minimum of 20 years hands-on technical experience in workshop environments
- Strong, authoritative leadership skills
- Previous experience within the concrete manufacturing or processing industry is highly beneficial
- Proven track record in maintenance management, equipment troubleshooting, and team leadership
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct daily activities within the mechanical and electrical workshop
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of artisans and technicians
- Enforce strict compliance with safety guidelines, quality standards, and operating protocols
- Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules, breakdown repairs, and equipment overhauls
- Diagnose complex mechanical or electrical machinery faults to minimize downtime
- Drive continuous operational improvements and maintain clear accountability across the team
